5/5/08- Mayhem takes a tumble at the bout May 3

Mayhem took a hard fall in the opening seconds of the Bomb Squad's bout on May 3, 2008 against the BrewCity Bruisers. She was taken to the hospital with pain in her leg and butt. She went to the orthopedic surgeon today and must go back for an MRI to find out if she has torn her hamstring. We will keep you posted.

2/22/08- Develyn Cide Back on her Skates

After several months of recovery, Develyn Cide joined her sisters on the track at practice this week and we could not be happier! Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. Develyn and the FWDG appreciate the support!

9/16/07- Develyn Cide's Broken Leg

Develyn Cide was injured in Cheyenne during a Bomb Squad bout against the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls. One minute into the 3rd period, she took a hart hit from RMRG's Pinky 500. Develyn was taken to the hospital and underwent surgery to set the bones. She is in recovery now and doing well.

4/14/07- Injury Update!

Alotta Attitude: Had foot surgery in March and is spending her nights tearin' things up in the scooters at the grocery store. Be on the look out!

Boomerang: Has a bun in the oven! Baby Boom is due in May and Boomerang will be on her skates shortly after!

Cherry Coma: Broke her ankle during practice in February, hopes to be back on her skates in a few weeks. Derby love to you, Cherry!

Develyn-Cide: Suffered a hard fall during practice and was taken to the ER to get checked out. No broken bones, but serious bruising in the spinal area. We're sending our healing kisses her way!

Little D. Evil: Babied that knee of hers all winter and is finally back on the track bouting with us again. We're glad to have you back, Little D!

Majestic: Took a hard fall in Chicago while playing WCR- but nothing too serious. Pulled a muscle in her knee and is taking very good care of it so she's bout ready by April!

Mayhem: Had surgery in March on those pesky shin splints. Won't be bout ready by April, but is getting pumped for the home season!

PushyCat: Got her knee checked out and we're still waiting for more info. Fingers are crossed that the Bomb Squad won't be skating without her in April!

2/12/07- One of our Newbies!

One of our new skaters, Megan, who joined our league in January, sustained quite a bruise after a fall at practice. The first of many, I am sure!

11/16/06- LIttle D.Evil surgery update

Little D.Evil went under the knife in early November to fix her busted knees. She came through the surgery just like a derby girl and is recovering while she waits to get back on her skates.

10/26/06- Boomerang, LIttle D.Evil

Boomerang's cast has been removed and she's in the process of re-training her muscle movement. Doc says that it's not safe to skate on for at least 6 months. She'll be back on the track as soon as she can!

Little D. Evil is preparing for a November surgery that will hopefully correct her knee problem. Our fingers are crossed for her and we know she'll be making a strong recovery!

9/14/06- Boomerang, Throttle, and Little D.Evil:

Boomerang broke her arm in the August bout will be in a cast through October. Doc says no skating with the cast (she tried everything to get around it) so she'll just be watching until she heals

Little D. Evil's knees are recovering from DERBY DEEDS. She won't be skating for awhile, but she's doing everything she can to strengthen those knees for a BIGGER recovery and a BETTER comeback.

Throttle is back on her skates, taking things one stride at a time. She's not quite ready to bout yet, but we're all excited to have her practicing with us.

9/2/06- Boomerang and Little D.Evil:

Boomerang hurt her arm in the 3rd period of Derby Deeds Done Dirt Cheap on July 15th. After a visit to the doctor, it was discovered that she actually broke her arm and will be out for 6-8 weeks at least. Team Evil is definitely crying over this one.

Little D. Evil, FWDG co-founder and Team Good co-captain, also took a hard fall during Derby Deeds and will be out the rest of the season with extensive damage to both knees.

Both chicks are tough and will be back on skates as soon as their doctors clear them!

8/19/06 Beaut Vi.cious broken ankle update:

Beaut has been released by her doctors and can officially get back on her skates. Look for her on the track at our upcoming bouts.

7/29/06 Boomerang Broken Tailbone Update:

Boomerang has been officially cleared by the doctor to begin skating. Be sure to come to our August 26th to see her in action.

7/16/06 Derby Injury Update:

Lickitty Split from Team Evil took a tumble during practice last week and banged up her knee. Right now she is on crutches and won't be able to bout for some time. We hope she has a speedy recovery.

Boomerang is still recovering from a broken tailbone, but she will be ready to bout in August and Team Evil will be glad to have her back.

6/25/06 DERBY INJURY UPDATE:

Malibruise Barbie has been suffering back pain that will take her to surgery - she will be off skates for 8 weeks. We hope Ken will take good care of her!

We are all crying now! Boomerang took a HARD fall at practice on June 12th - she ended up in the ER with a fractured tailbone - we are all still a little stunned.

Beaut Vi.cious was injured during practice and was taken to the hospital - she broke her ankle in two spots which will require three screws and a plate. Please cry for us since we aren't allowed to, we will truly miss those wings on the rink while she heals.
And for those that are curious, she did not shed a tear.
